Skills at a glance
The page lists all 14:
- Status: enabled / disabled.
- Category: Core, Support, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, Billing, Custom.
- Plan tier required.
- Last fired timestamp.
- Fires this week count.
Click any skill for detailed config (same as AI Agents page).
Toggle on / off
Click any skill's switch. Within 30 seconds:
- In-flight conversations complete with old setting.
- New conversations see new setting.
- No retroactive replay.
Bulk enable
For initial workspace setup:
- "Enable recommended for [vertical]" button.
- Enables 5 to 8 skills matching your industry (SaaS, e-commerce, services).
- Tunes triggers based on industry defaults.
About 60 to 75% of teams accept the recommended set.
Skill metrics
Per skill:
- Times fired last 7/30 days.
- Success rate.
- Average firing latency.
- Customer thumbs up/down.
- Skills firing often but failing flagged for review.
Audit log per skill
Every skill invocation logs:
- Trigger that fired.
- Inputs.
- Outputs.
- Policy check pass/fail.
365-day retention standard. Useful for compliance and debugging.
Limits
- 14 built-in skills. Plus 1 custom_webhook for arbitrary skills.
- Concurrent skills per turn. 3.
- Audit retention. 365 days.
Common pitfalls
Skill enabled but never fires. Trigger phrases don't match. Adjust under detail view.
Skill fires too often. Triggers too permissive. Tighten.
Skill bounds blocking. Policy too tight. Loosen under Bounds.
FAQ
Does the bot use all enabled skills?
Only when triggered. Most messages use just knowledge_search.
Can I create custom skills?
Today via custom_webhook. Native SDK on roadmap.
Will disabling a skill affect ongoing conversations?
In-flight skill invocations finish. No new ones trigger.
